The Inclusivity Prayer
|
|
| Spirituality
and religion seem to be at opposite poles. Spirituality is about
inclusivity; religions are the institutions we invent to separate ourselves
from each other, separate the "true believers" from "heathens", separate
"us" from "them".
I have included the following prayer into my daily ritual for years. It is my personal reminder and affirmation of our oneness, our inclusivity. If you pray for all beings, ultimately you are praying for yourself. I invite you to include this in your own prayers. We will achieve inclusivity if we pray for it. |

| All energy, every molecule of the Universe, has consciousness. | ||||
