We can choose to combine our strength, our resources, and our spirit in an effort to create a new center for a new society. We can recreate the Commons. The Commons can be a primary engine for the spread and development of Mender consciousness. 

The Commons is like an urban monastery, a shelter in the midst of a decaying civilization. In the busyness and madness of Breaker society, the Commons is a place where everyone comes together to slow down, to pause, to contemplate. It is the place to have a cup of coffee or a glass of beer and a conversation with others. It is the common ground that has been usurped by the mall and the television.
